The restaurant is small in size but big on service and attention! Ross Derrick makes customers feel welcome. Although under minor renovations, the cafe is comfortable - the outdoor patio should be completed and open soon. They offer a daily/weekly special menu that looked very interesting and worth a try, but we were there for the fish & chips, so halibut & chips was the evening's order. My halibut was lightly battered, crisp and a nice thick piece of 'steak'...yes steak, that's how the halibut is, substance and form. I was impressed although I did find it a bit dry. chips were perfect, hand-cut and fresh. My wife ordered the fish tacos, she commented they could have been spicier. I would go back and try the cod next time and mussels (special).

For me a casual cafe experience needs the following - simple but great menu, friendly staff, a decent wine and beer menu and lastly a funky and fun environment.... The Table at Codfathers Market checks off all the boxes on the above list! Ross and his team provide exceptional fish and chips + other great seafood at the small cafe next to the shop. It doesnt get much fresher! Support this local shop - its worth it.

Very talented chefs and good seafood. Services gets a 0, would have been better if it was self serve. Tip to management, add a chef take away the servers

The Table is the ONLY fish and chips worth getting in Kelowna. Theres nothing like walking into a fish market full of the best, freshest BC seafood only to find theyre frying it up in house at a high high level. The staff are consistently friendly and accommodating. Serving up crisp and lightly battered fish with proper chips that are almost like a drug. Look no further folks, find this gem for yourselves.

Tldr: 10/10 I recommend. We showed up about 40 minutes before closing time, my partner and I got half dozen oysters and a west coast crab feast, the chef was great enough to come out with a live crab to show us the size of it. Man was it a feast when it showed. Abundance of shrimps, clams, and mussels. The crab was huge and we worked on it. (Coffee was fantastic too) 30 mins after closing, we just finished the crab and I had a bite of the delicious garlic bread. I got the server to pack everything up as I wanted them to close on time and not us be a hindrance (which she assured us we weren't) she packed up everything and we left.. as soon as I got to the hotel, I realized that we were missing garlic bread and butter!! I was so sad. I wanted to eat more of that garlic bread. Any seafood lover should come to this place. 10/10 will come back but I want my garlic bread next time!
