Great place for breakfast. lunch or brunch. It's like an old-fashioned diner, but without the tired look. Fresh and clean, with friendly staff and a great chef. The fish tacos are great hangover or post-hike fare (pick your own hot sauce from the huge rack), the poutine is the best in town (with pulled pork if you are really hungry), and the candied salmon risotto fritters are something I dream about. It's licensed too, if you want to indulge, but they also have a good selection of sodas and lots of freshly brewed coffee. They also have soups and stocks and the pulled pork packaged to take home, and delicious house-made crackers, too.
Love the eggs benny. Favourite in town! The only thing is they arent open Sunday :( This is the day we always want to go for breakfast and there has been 5 times at least we have had to find somewhere else on Sunday.
Small but excellent little diner. Bennies were very good. The hash was average without any hard hitting factors. The hollandaise sauce was very very good. There's also a huge selection of hot sauce by the cashier which was fun to try out a few. The homemade ketchup was refreshing due to the infused berry flavor. Little bit out of the way but not hard to find. Highly recommended for a stop. Will return for more
Absolutely delicious. Perfect portions, welcoming atmosphere, and quality ingredients. Ate here with my brother who - without hesitation - said, I think this is the best breakfast Ive ever had.
Fantastic and creative food, cozy and clean atmosphere, friendly and efficient service. I think I've found my new favorite lunch spotEdit: their lunch starts at 11. I realize it's just their rule but I'm not really a breakfast person however the way things stack up I'm usually there between 1030 and 1050. They are never flexible on their timing. No soup, no salad, no specials. It always ends up that I'm either disappointed because I have to order food I don't like, or I have to wait and it throws off timing with other people I'm with. Also I have very little control over our timing, mostly up to the whims of others.
