Front desk staff not professional. On top of the room charge there is an additional $200 charge for incidentals, which is refundable after you check out. After the third attempt to enter the total into the machine, the lady at the front desk tried charging my credit card $200,087!?!! They are pet friendly; however, no where did it state an additional pet fee online when booking. I ended up paying $172 taxes included a night for an extremely low budget, run down motel. I booked the Oasis Inn, so I thought I'd be staying at the Oasis Inn. Wrong. They put us into the motel next door which the road sign says Chinook Inn. The room was relatively clean, and location was decent but that's the only positive. Rooms are run down despite being recently updated. And the smell of stale cigarette smoke is so overwhelming even though the rooms are non-smoking. Save yourself the headache and stay elsewhere. We definitely won't be back.
Fabulous place to stay in Kelowna. Friendly, warm service, very clean, stylish rooms with wonderful little touches that make the rooms feel brighter and well thought out. Love the layouts as well, with the option to close off the rooms making them private. Comfortable beds too. Well accommodating, and terrifically priced. Love the surrounding veranda, and relaxing courtyard. We enjoyed our stay very much and look forward to returning when we are in Kelowna. Highly recommend.
If your choice is between sleeping in your car and staying at the Oasis Inn, pick the car. They charged 178 with tax per night which is ridiculous for what you get. The lady at the front desk was clearly uninterested and took over 20 minutes to check us out. They charge a $300 deposit which is insanely high AND they still have not refunded he deposit to us regardless of the fact that the room was checked and no damage was present. The walls are so thin you can hear every conversation going on beside you, and the sheets, that I assume were white at one point, are now stained with god knows what. I understand that this is not a high end place, but then dont charge high end prices. I wouldnt pay more than $100 a night for this place.
Staff were very friendly and the location was pretty good for not being right downtown. The 5 bus stop to downtown was just across the street. There were a couple of issues, the a/c was stuck on fan mode so it got quite hot when sleeping at night and the drain in the bathtub drained really slowly so you were standing in water while showering. The included breakfast was good and u can't go wrong with a pool.
Nice and lively place to stay near downtown. Owner was really good. Upgraded our room due to double booking at no cost. Barbeque and pool available.
