Really quirky place- decor very cool. Staff very friendly and helpful. Loads of free amenities inc coffee, bikes, ping pong! Ideally located for Kelowna and the area generally. Would highly recommend
This location cannot be beat. From the time we arrived in Kelowna to the time we left our car didn't move. Everything we needed / wanted was in walking distance. With the busy location, we expected it to be a bit noisy especially at night but really didn't notice it. The hotel amenities such as the rooftop patio and the ping pong lounge are the 'selling' features of the hotel. The room itself was a bit smaller than we expected and the bathroom was a bit run down, would've liked to have seen the room a bit cleaner. It felt a bit like because of the prime location other aspects of the hotel / stay such as the cleanliness were not prioritized.
Too expensive, small rooms, poor serviceThis is basically a sleazy motel with some funky paint and free bike rentals. I had a "King room" to myself and I could barely move around in it. The TV was on the desk, so there was no room to do any real work. The bathroom reminded me of the chainsaw murder scene in Scarface. No towels in the bathroom when I arrived, I had to make a special request so I could take a shower. Tiny little parking spaces so it's impossible to open car doors without denting your neighbour's car. The "pool" is basically the size of a hot tub. Way too expensive for what it offers. Great downtown location, but the Delta and Prestige offer better value for money. I requested a phone call from the manager which I never received. Very disappointing experience. I will not be returning.07/26/2018Still haven't heard from the manager.
This place is very fun.. love the retro theme! Staff was great to me, room was clean. Location across from the park was great as well. Much appreciated the upgrade to a larger room, but even still the bathroom was super tiny! No counter space. Also, I do not recommend you park in their main lot, it is TIGHT when it is full. No room to back out of your space... I cant imagine trying to park anything larger than my small SUV.
I had a horrendous stay at this hotel. Ive never written a Google review before but felt I had to, it was so bad. It was so loud next door, I couldnt sleep until the police stopped the party around 3:45 am. Hotel Zed should not be operating as a hotel until they better their sound proofing. Ridiculous. Pricing is utterly absurd when youre paying to sleep at night. Definitely never going back.In follow up to the above review, I received prompt and thoughtful service from the Hotel Zed staff, which is much appreciated. Thank you for your customer service!
