A comment about your older staff. They don't seem to see the customer as a value. They don't want to interact and in my humble opinion they treat you with disdain. I'm sure not everyone will agree with this statement. I work in management with a company that promotes customer relationships. These people the customers are the core of our success. We need them and you need them.
Deli has great selection of meats and great to go specoals. There sandwiches and soups are amazing great value. The only problem that I had was I ordered fish and mashed potatoes and the fish was dry and the potatoes were cold not fresh at at but i still would go back just order something else.
Dilworth Safeway has been my local grocery for over 30 years. They staff there always accomodate. The store is clean and easily accessible. And the Flowers they have are gorgeous. The arrangements I order for special Birthdays or Thank you are so Pretty. Thank you !!!
Always happy when we drive to Kelowna to shop at Safeway. It is the only store at this point we have been able to find spring roll wrappers even though Superstore says they sell them, they don't. There are definitely certain items that we can only buy or Safeway brand products from Safeway. We miss not having a Safeway in the city we live in that's for sure!
The staff is friendly for the most part but the produce section leaves a lot to be desired. I find it to be mostly older fruits and vegetables that are getting close to the clearance bin at other grocery stores. I picked up a sweet potato from the basket and it was shriveled up and quite dry. I went to purchase sweet peppers and they felt mushy. The meat department also disapointed us on our last trip. We couldn't find pork shoulder and there was no one around to help us.
