I often come here to "support local', which is something I strongly believe in.Tonight however at 7:00 with 6 cars total in the parking lot, after doing 2 laps of the building trying to find a parking spot on the street, I chose to park in the parking lot for all of 5 minutes as I grab my takeout (which i was 5 minutes late for already considering the minimal availability of street parking).I was met by a VERY rude brunette woman who was quick to assume I was abusing their parking lot space. Which in truth she was correct in a way... but.I run businesses and can respect the importance of things like parking. I am NOT complaining about her right to ask me to respect the parking area for the grocers. Had the parking lot itself been at all busier, I would have parked elsewhere.(I drive a long box one ton, and chose not to challenge crowded parking lots anyways)I AM complaining at the severity of the words and disrespect put forward by the staff member in question. Had she allowed me to explain, I would have told her my situation and assured her I was on her side. However, the only words she let me get in were "I support you guys often" before once again being interrupted. The correct wording next time is "excuse me this parking area is for costumers only". followed by listening. Which is much better than opening a dialog with "excuse me did you seriously just park here and walk away?"It really gives a guy no chance to catch his breath. The following dialog which ensued was disrespectful. I didn't say much.My roommate, myself, and a few other friends (locals) whom I was able to share my story with when I arrived home will no longer be supporting this version of "local". Despite us often remarking of the cozy atmosphere. Again, I understand and respect a businesses right to provide parking for customers. but believe me, I wasn't taking up any space, and I'm dumbfounded to be treated like I was. cheers

Nice neighborhood grocery store. Smaller than the other guys, but they make up for it with excellent service. Very good onsite bakery and they have local fruit sooner than the other stores. Check their ads because they have very good weekly specials. Lots of loyal customers who have shopped here for years.

I love supporting a local store, they're small but have a decent selection for their size. The service has always been great, especially the butcher. Feels a bit cramped but I can usually get most of what I need. Wish they would carry more local products.

The best place in town to shop. Friendly staff and great sales.

Good variety of vegetables and meat. Love their breads too
