Took my watch for a battery replacement (first time). When I went to pick it up he told me it was not the battery. He had made a real mess trying to open my watch. I did not believe what he said and was upset about the mess he had made so when he suggested I leave the watch for further investigation I didnt. Took my watch to a battery place who replaced the battery no problem...my watch runs fine. I do not think the jeweller was able to open my watch and obviously he does not have the right tools. Who knows what he would have charged me if I had left it. He said it would be $75.00 plus what it would cost to fix it...in other words put a new battery in it. The person who changed my battery asked if he had used a chisel.
