From start to finish my experience was great. I forgot to click giftwrap on checkout but a quick message to customer service and they answered right away with "no problem". Received two days later and it was wrapped beautifully. Can't wait to see my wife's reaction. Highly recommended.
I pulled into the parking lot to drop my veil off at Bliss which is just around the corner (same building) and then go into the Canadian jewellery Exchange to pick out my wedding band...there was no parking for a Bliss spot so I parked in a CWE spot. I ran into bliss to drop my veil off, was only in there for 10 mins, ran out to go find a wedding band and I already had a parking ticket on my window. $65 for 10 minutes and if I didn't pay within 10 days, price went up to $100. I tried explaining my situation to the store and to the company who fined me. But they were both very cold. It completely took the wind out of my sails and made something that should have been a happy time, really disappointing. So, thanks Canadian Jewelery Exchange...I will never step foot in your store again, nor will I recommend you to anyone.
Horrible experience and customer service. They were nice the first time but shockingly rude when I went back in to pick up the cheque for 2 rings that were sold on consignment.When I was presented the cheque for the rings it was lower than the amount I was quoted on the phone a few days earlier and I couldn't recall of the top of my head exactly what it should have been as the rings were in there shop for well over 2 years. The manager very briefly showed me the original consignment slip but then took it away immediately. I didn't quite understand it so I asked if she could make me a photocopy of it to take with me so I could have a better look. To which she just bluntly said no. She said that if I want to look at it, I have a copy at home that I can look at. I do have my own copy, but I'm in the process of moving and its packed up and filed away in my paperwork from over two years ago. I then asked if I could just have another look at it briefly, as I just wanted a better understanding of it, and again she replied 'nope, we're just going to leave it like this'. I can't even have a look at it in the store!?I just wanted some clarification because the cheque she was presenting me was smaller than the amount I was told on the phone a few days prior and wanted to understand why.I don't live near Kelowna anymore, so it was going to be a few days before I could even dig out my copy of the slip to see what was on it.I don't know if they were trying to hide something from me, but it sure felt like it.I was sitting there just floored that she could sit there and say no to such simple request as to see a break down on the payment they were making to me.Wouldn't recommend a place that treats people like this.
