I like order products from the online store and its fast delivery. But my products still have security tags on it. A bit inconvenient gonna have to drive to store to get it remove but other than that they pretty good. I barely shop inside store always do it online and return policy is good. Please check before mailing the products out to customers. Thank you
One of the first Sport Chek's I've been to where the staff really knew what they were talking about and helped us make a good decision on what to buy. We were specifically looking at tennis rackets and the employee spotted us and knew exactly what we were looking for. He wasn't pushy either, which was a plus.
I ordered a package online and noticed the shipping address was wrong and sent an email about 5 minutes after the purchase. The package went to the wrong address and was subsequently stolen by my now evicted neighbors. Canada post has stated it was in fact delivered to the wrong address. Sport chek will not provide a refund or send me a new item. They responded to my email I sent after seeing the wrong address a month later. Pretty disappointed, I didn't shop anywhere else and now I do.
Only been here for shoes, and the sales they had on they kinda we got were pretty decent. Also got a small discount on some swim ware. Overall customer service is good, never too much of a wait even when it's busy in the shoe area. Prices are too high in the clothing area but brand name if that's what you're looking for. Wish they had a bigger selection of rain boots and rain jackets.
Poor management. Manager Dave does not care about his customers. Says one thing does another. Was told I would get a discount inspite of the online discount not applying. Was very happy that they were going to do this. Got the $349 skates heated up for my 13 year old grandson. To have Dave come over and change his mind and tell me he wasn't going to give the discount because of the on line discount not applying to the skates. Personally I should have left the skates formed to my grandsons feet in the store. However he needed them for hockey school and I was forced to pay the full price. On top of this when I got home and checked my receipt. They charged me $6 for skate sharpening. And I was told skate sharpening comes at no charge with new skates. Add to this they screwed up an a pair of shoes I bought that were discounted to $49 and they charged me $74. Watch your receipts when you go to this store. Don't leave the cash out until you look over your entire purchase.Worst Sport Chek I have ever shopped at.
