Excellent hiking! Gorgeous views!
So far, I've only gone during the winter. It was a nice walk. Very overcast day but I'm excited to see it in the spring.
I love this park, the views from the top on Bitterroot trail are amazing. Hike is not too difficult and the trail is well marked.Lots of benches to enjoy the views. One of my favorites!!! A must see for visitors to Kelowna!!!
Great hiking area within the city limits of West Kelowna. Lots of trails that can lead you to spend hours if you choose or get lost. I would give it 5 stars if the trails were marked better. Too many smaller trails branching off which can cause a hiker to become lost. If you are able to find the bench at the top of the hill on the yellow trail, you will experience a wonderful scenic view of both Kelowna and West Kelowna...great picture opportunity!
Great place for hiking, biking, fishing and birding, (my favourite thing to do in the park) so many incredible species including veery, peregrine flacons, western tanagers, black headed grosbeaks, ruffed grouse both western and mountain bluebirds, three species of nuthatches and many more. The park gets pretty hot in July-August, but April-June are perfect and Sept-Nov are great too.
