The front person is the first and last impression of the clinic and I tell you the attitude I have resived is beyond rude. They should actually hire a person who likes working in this field and knows how to multitask. I dont need to know how much work they are having but how they actually going to help.

Dr Carroll's receptionist is completely miserable and has a horrible attitude and should really consider working from home so she does not have to deal with people because she has no idea how to talk to people respectfully. I dont think i can continue to go here as i can not deal with someone like this

Went to the walk-in here for the first time last week. Asked for a female physician as I was going to request a physical and was told that was okay by the lady up front. Ended up having a male doctor, who barely listened to me. Sent me for blood testing. A week after this visit, today, I called to check in at the clinic as I hadn't heard anything after the tests, and I had never been there before, so I just wanted to make sure the test had gone back to them, but the lady that picked up the phone was quite rude and had no time for me. Feel like I wasted my time going here. Don't waste yours.

I applied to get into Hillside Medical because I didn't have a Family Doctor in Kelowna and was tired of walk-ins with a different doctor every time. The very few times I've gone to the doctor with an appointment, I've usually had to wait 30-40 minutes on average. Not to mention, every time he has met he introduces himself to me as if I was a walk-in patient. That comes to show he really doesn't know his patients, or maybe it's just me.Every time I've gone to him, he never comes up with any potential solution, suggestion or advice. Also, he rarely does any check-up.Today was the last straw. I had my appointment at 9:30am, and the first thing the receptionist told me was: Dr. Kipnis is a running 10-15 minutes behind today". Again. That turned out to be 45 minutes. Here's what I went there for:- I have been taking the typhoid pills (Vivotif) because I'm traveling abroad. After the second dose, my stomach was very, very upset, I felt nauseous, dizzy and sick. Not only did he not know what Vivotif was but he said he couldn't do anything. He didn't even suggest Gravol, or ginger, nothing, despite me insisting up to three times if he could think of something. - Due to contraception , I have been dealing with my cycle twice this month, with heavy flow and cramps. I expressed my concern to him regarding the fact that it's been a while and it hasn't decreased at all. To which he responded: "Well, it could be, I guess. You'll gane to deal with that, I can't help you there". - Lastly, my mom whose a nurse suggested the idea of me asking about the HPV shot, which essentially protects you from cervical cancer. "He said I don't know what dose"...and then as he checked the computer he's like: "you could do this one I guess", just as if it wasn't a big deal what dose I get. - I asked him for a follow-up test to check my iron levels before my trip, and he said it was too late to do that. I insisted, my iron levels were low a few months ago and I'd like to see where I'm at. He said: "Well, just so you know your levels are not going to be improved for another 6 months or a year".Anyway, I would suggest you stay away from Dr. Kipnis who really doesn't seem to care about many of his patients, also based on other reviews I've read from other patients. He offers no solutions, shows no empathy, and really it just seems like he's doing you a favour. I'm already applying for other clinics as I left with a worse frame of mind than I arrived.

I have NEVER been to such a wonderful walk in clinic in my entire life. Ive been to MANY in kelowna and all around Canada and this clinic is by far the best. Dr. Vorster was the kindest, most sympathetic and knowledgeable doctor Ive ever met. I went in feeling hopeless and left feeling much better. Thank you so much. Wait time was also very very short!
