Pizza was large, but okay. To be more specific I had the cheese pizza. It was lacking in cheese. It was reasonably priced.
This has always been a great pizza place for us, especially since we live right downtown a short walk away. Since they made changes to add the pub we were excited to have that extra...but we've been disappointed ever since the change. Not only is it inconvenient having to do 2 different transactions, it's confusing. We got past that and decided to keep going because the pizza is really great. But twice we have gone and both times the bar has been out of something plainly on the menu...not even on a busy weekend. Mid week. And last time both the restaurant and the bar were out of basic menu items and it's turned us off. They need to get their supply stream straightened out....theyre only 2 blocks from a late night grocery store for crying out loud.....sorry. won t be back for a while.
What a spot! Same great pizza with a new look!Recently updated with a full bar, you can now get Kelownas best pizza over a beer/wine/whiskey at this stellar location! With a growing list of top-shelf whiskies and tequilas, live music often, progressive and relaxed atmosphere and a great core of staff members, this place has quickly become a favourite stop of mine! Bathrooms are spotless and the place is clean!
If you thought Dunnenzies was just a pizza joint, you're in for a surprise. After renovations, you can get a beer. Listen to a wonderful live singer on guitar. Order a fantastic pizza, even their Gluten free Pizza was amazing. You might walk right by. But you should turn around and step inside. This is a hidden gem that the late night crowd has found and will sit outside if needed to get the great taste Dunnenzies serves up.
Great atmosphere, amazing food and great staff. The pub was an amazing addition and has become our regular!
